Need Your Photos Back By a Specific Date? Here’s The Easiest Way To Make That Happen.

One of the most common questions I receive after a session is: “Do you know when my photos will be ready?”

And honestly, I get it. These images matter. They’re emotional, personal, and something you’re really looking forward to seeing. That excitement is part of the experience, and I never want to dismiss it.

That said, I want to gently explain how my editing process works, and how you can guarantee an earlier return if you’re working with a specific deadline.

How my editing queue works

Every gallery I deliver is edited with care, intention, and consistency. To protect that quality (and my sanity), I edit sessions in the order they were photographed, moving steadily through my queue.

Your standard turnaround window is up to 8 weeks from your session date, depending on season and volume. During busy times, I’m often editing back-to-back sessions, which means returning one gallery early would push another client’s work back.

That’s why I don’t provide individual progress updates during the editing window, not because I don’t care, but because answering those messages actually takes time away from editing and delays galleries for everyone. If you haven’t heard from me and you’re still within your quoted turnaround, your photos are exactly where they should be: in the queue and being worked on.

Need your photos by a specific date?

If you have a deadline like a birthday, anniversary, printing timeline, gift, or you’re simply excited and don’t want to wait, the best and only way to guarantee a shorter turnaround is to add a rush delivery.

Rush options allow me to intentionally reorganize my editing queue and prioritize your gallery fairly, without impacting other clients.

✔ 3-Day Rush Delivery — $140Need your gallery almost immediately? This is my fastest option.

✔ 1-Week Rush Delivery — $100 (if you use this option) For timelines that are tight but not urgent-urgent.

✔ 3-Week Rush Delivery — $80Perfect if you want your photos well ahead of the standard 4–8 week window.

✔ 4-Week Rush Delivery — $60Gives you a comfortable buffer without waiting the full timeframe.

✔ 5-Week Rush Delivery — $40A light rush for when you want them slightly sooner.

✔ 6-Week Rush Delivery — $20Just enough of a bump to prioritize your gallery higher in the queue.

Rush options are available when they meaningfully shorten the remaining wait time. If you’re already very close to a listed rush window, that option may no longer apply.

Once a rush is purchased, I’m automatically notified and your gallery is moved accordingly — there’s no need to message me to confirm.

When Should You Reach Out? ❤️

If you’ve:

• Ordered a rush and haven’t received your gallery within that timeframe, or

• Passed the 8-week mark without delivery

Please reach out right away. Technology isn’t perfect, and I always want to make sure nothing has slipped through the cracks.

A quick note about boundaries 💛

If you haven’t added a rush and you’re still within your turnaround window, there’s nothing you need to do, your gallery is on its way. Checking in doesn’t speed things up. Rush upgrades do. And I promise: the moment your gallery is complete, it’s delivered straight to your inbox.
