A Lake Country Wedding With A Lake View
Kayleigh & Josh tied the knot at a massive AirBnB with a view of Okanagan Lake.
When I first joined them Kayleigh had a first look with her Bridesmaids, and then her Mom & Dad. The way her Mom is trying to stay composed in the background pulls at my heart strings. I will be a hot mess at my own daughter's wedding!
Josh saved his first look at Kayleigh for the aisle, and his reaction was worth the wait. And the reaction of his Groomsmen behind him just adds to the moment!
Their ceremony even had a Flower Beer Boy! Things you don't expect to see at a wedding.
It was a beautiful ceremony, officiated by the Groom's Father, and obviously because it was a 2022 wedding, we had some guests Zoom in.
It was a truly personal ceremony, with one of the best first kiss fist pumps I've ever seen.
After the ceremony we got some great moments during the family headshots, including a very supportive photo of the Bride's mom, dad and brother.
The FRIENDS headshots got even more interesting! In the best way.
There were about five different sports teams at the wedding, from the Bride's golf team to the Groom's hockey team, and they really let loose during the photos.
Then we got to sneak away down the road to a couple of different spots on Okanagan Lake where we did wedding party photos that turned out AMAZING! Ending off, of course, with a golf club shot.
Their wedding had every perfect detail, from the lake view to the Bride's STUNNING dress...
To the Britney Spears wedding party entrance that included shots and ended in an icing for the boys.
The Bride & Groom made their way onto the dance floor and had their first dance as husband and wife, surrounded by their family and friends.
During the reception, her Dad made one of the best Father of the Bride speeches that I've ever heard, only because he managed to do it while doing 9 shots, and he ended it by giving the Groom a bill for the Bride's expenses, because if he was expected to "give away" something he's put so much into, he should get his money back hahahaha epic.
And they ended with a beautiful cake.
